Chandigarh, October 21: Grabbing the opportunity to spread environmental awareness, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today set a new precedent! He rode a bicycle to cast his vote in the state assembly election.
“Every time there is a significant occasion, we must give a message, hence through this medium, I would like to appeal to the people of Haryana that we should care for the environment, save the environment. As much as possible, we must reduce pollution and show concern towards our environment, so our coming generations can benefit from it.” - Manohar Lal Khattar
CM of Manohar Lal cast his vote at Government Higher Secondary School, Prem Nagar of Karnal Assembly constituency. He reached polling booth No, 134 by bicycle, saying he wanted give a message to people to protect environment.
Interacting with media after voting, he expressed confidence that BJP would form goverment again in the state.
