Manifestation of deep trust in govt! Huge rally organised in Visakhapatnam in support of CAA

Visakhapatnam, December 28: In a democratic country, people usually gather on roads and march to protest a govt's decision. However, probably for the first time in India’s history since independence, people in large numbers are coming on the streets and making rallies to “support” a government decision. A true manifestation of people’s trust in govt was seen yesterday in Visakhapatnam where thousands of people organised a huge rally in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act.

 

 

 

People from all walks of life in Visakhapatnam supported the Citizenship Amendment Act-2019 by participating in huge number in CAA supporting rally today. The streets were full of people peacefully marching ahead hoisting Indian tricolour flag and shouting Vande Mataram. It was indeed an amazing nationalistic crowd in huge numbers on street.

 

 

 

Few days ago, around 4000 people had rallied to protest the CAA from Saraswati Park to Gandhi Statue. In Visakhapatnam. However, the splendour of yesterday’s rally in support of the CAA showed the real trust on government. The photos and videos of the rally circulating on social media showcase the mass public support not only from Visakhapatnam but throughout the nation. 

 

 

 

In a campaign organised by the media house Zee News, more than 1 crore people registered their support to the CAA by giving a missed call on the prescribed number. 

 

 

 

Meanwhile, the district BJP unit in Karimnagar, Telangana has decided to organise a massive rally town on December 30. BJP State president K. Laxman and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar will participate in the rally, which would start from Arts College grounds and reach the Collectorate through Tower Circle and One Town police station.
