New Delhi, May 28: Two days ahead of the swearing in ceremony scheduled, where the Prime Minister elected will be crowned in to serve the nation for second term, Narendra Modi on Tuesday met India’s former President Pranab Mukharjee, seeking his blessings for the massive victory attained in the national elections.

Earlier the week, the to be Prime Minister met L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and his source of gentle strength, his mother Hiraben seeking their grace and good wishes for the huge responsibility he is supposed to hold ahead in his second term.
The former President meanwhile moved up showing gratitude towards Modi saying, “It was indeed a pleasure meeting you. As you proceed, stronger into the second innings, my good wishes are with you in achieving your vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas”.
Modi-led Government secured a clear majority with 303 seats, which is 22 more than its 2014 tally. He got elected as a leader of the NDA in a ceremony at Parliament’s Central Hall and later met President Kovind staking claim to form a new government.
