India stands with brothers of Odisha! PM Modi conducts aerial survey in Odisha

Bhubaneshwar, May 6: Cyclone Fani, one of the worst calamities, which made a heavy hit and affected Odisha but didn't affect our unity, our josh. Indian Navy, Air Force all joined hands together to tackle this situation. Likewise, keeping all the works aside and giving the priority to his utmost important duty, PM Modi visited and conducted the aerial survey in Odisha today.

Cyclone Fani is one of the worst storms occurred in the last 43 years which affected the major part of Bhubaneshwar, Puri, Cuttack, and Khordha districts of Odisha. 


During the visit, PM Modi appreciated the coordination between state teams and national teams and their quick response to the cause.

This aerial survey was conducted for taking stock of loss and devastation in areas affected by the cyclone Fani in Odisha. PM Narendra Modi was received by the governor Ganesh lal and CM Naveen Patnaik and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today morning.

With a wind speed of 200 kmph, Cyclone Fani hard hit on Friday and resulted into heavy rainfall but was unable to hit the courage of the rescue teams.

On Sunday, PM Narendra Modi tweeted on his official Twitter handle on the upcoming Odisha visit after the cyclone hit.


On Sunday, the National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC) under the leadership cabinet secretary P.K.Sinha reviewed the relief measures in the cyclone Fani affected areas of Odisha, West Bengal and, Andhra Pradesh.
