#83TheFilm.. When Ranveer Singh recreates the iconic moment!

New Delhi, March 07: Creating deeper, heavier and wider excitement amongst the fans, Bollywood's energy pack Ranveer Singh on Saturday shared a new poster of his upcoming movie '83'. The actor who will be seen as former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev, is seen lifting the World Cup trophy in the poster, just like that of Kapil Dev did after India's historic win against West Indies.

 

 

The new poster shows Ranveer at Lords Stadium in London, lifting the trophy with a big smile on his face. The Filmfare, India's no.1 lifestyle and entertainment magazine in its tweet said, "A moment we can’t wait to relive on the big screen! Here’s a still of #RanveerSingh lifting India’s maiden World Cup trophy in #83TheFilm"

83 revolves around the story of India's historic World Cup win in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev. The said film also features Deepika Padukone playing Dev’s wife Romi. Deepika also recently shared her first look from the film as Romi, where she was seen sporting a bob haircut and flaunting a black polo-neck top with a cream bottom.

 

Other than Ranveer and Deepika, 83, the film features Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Sahil Khattar, Chirag Patil, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, Dinker Sharma, Jatin Sarna, Nishant Dahiya, R Badree, and Boman Irani. The movie is slated to hit the box office on 10th April 2020 in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.
