Pakistani Hindu community leader and ruling PTI MP Ramesh Kumar Vankwani posted the video on social media. He said, "Attack on Hindu temple at Bhong City District Rahimyar Khan Punjab. Situation was tense since yesterday. Negligence by local police is very shameful. Chief Justice is requested to take action".

"Strict action must be taken against those who attacked Hindu temple at Bhong. In contact with higher authorities. The situation is very critical right now" Vankwani said.

In the video, the Muslim mob could be seen desecrating the murtis of the Hindu gods while raising slogans of "Nara-e-Takbeer" and "Allah hu Akbar".

Pakistani police also confirmed that the temple has been damaged badly. As per reports, when the police failed to control the mob, the Pakistan Rangers had to be called to control the situation. However, they failed to control the situation.

Police said the mob attacked the Hindu temple on Wednesday at Bhong city of Rahim Yar Khan district, some 590 km from Lahore, in reaction to the alleged desecration of a Muslim seminary.

As per the police and private media house, the violence was triggered after an eight-year-old boy allegedly urinated on the carpet of a madrasa. An eight-year-old Hindu boy last week had allegedly urinated at a library of the seminary in the area that caused tensions in Bhong. The 8-year-old boy was even arrested and booked last week under Pakistan’s brutal blasphemy laws but was subsequently released on bail for being a minor.

This is not the first time that the Muslim mod has attack minorities of Pakistan. The earlier mob also vandalised Krishna Dwara temple in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak district. Shockingly, Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government decided to withdraw cases against 350 people accused of burning down the Hindu temple.
