'Unconditional Love' is The Key Between Parents and Kids

As I started on my circle of walk, I found a young mother with two-year-old kid along with some toys, probably she brought the toys from home so that boy can play and she can do some exercise there only. However, the kid had other ideas.

As part of my routine, we went for a morning walk in the nearby park. This park has a round circle of about 600 meters, so one keeps on moving along this circle. In the beginning of park, there is a playing area for young kids. Generally, kids who need parental guidance are there along with parents or mothers.

As I started on my circle of walk, I found a young mother with two-year-old kid along with some toys, probably she brought the toys from home so that boy can play and she can do some exercise there only. However, the kid had other ideas. He was not ready to play with toys, he wanted that mother should take him up and move around in the park. This tussle was going on.

I came back after one round and found tussle was still on. The boy was threatening the mother and in between he was trying to weep also. The mother had no solution. The on lookers were there watching it but who can negotiate between mother and son?

“Your mom loves you so much…”

“No, she does not love me at all…otherwise she could have taken me around the park …”

I asked the mother – “is he a good boy”

“He is a wonderful boy and I love him so much.”

The boy was looking at me, the intruder between two warring parties but he found me on his side, so he was ready to listen to me.

“OK, tell me one thing, who insisted to come to park …you or your mother …”

“I forced her to bring me to park …”

“It means she loves you very much …”

“But she has to take me around in the park……”

“Certainly, she would because she loves you and if she loves you, you ought to listen to her as well….

“But she has to take me around in the park?”

“She loves you whether you obey her or not ….so you should obey ..."

Now, at this point, it was getting too much for the kid…he started playing with the toys…

After another round of mine, the young mother was stretching it out and the kid was playing with toys ……

Another 10 minutes …both the mother and son were moving around in the park …

I could see the approval in the eyes of both.

This in power of unconditional love which most of the parents miss out …you love your kids because they are your kids …not because of any other reason …

And certainly not because of their achievements …

Rest assured ...unconditional love of parents will bring the best out of their kids.
