Hyderabad, December 05: After the central investigative agencies named his daughter in the Delhi liquor scam, now the Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao alleged that Bhartiya Janta Party-led central government is trying to topple his government in the state.
While addressing the public gathering on Sunday (December 05), he said it is inciting frenzy and excitement among the people in the country for small political goals. He said that the Prime Minister wants the rebellion to start from Telangana. With BRS, we will develop a country like Telangana.
He said, "The BJP govt led by PM Narendra Modi is conspiring to topple the Telangana government. The thieves who came to buy the TRS MLAs were caught and put in jail." Continuing to attack BJP, he questioned whether the government will be overthrown for pointing out the Central failures, blocking the progress of Telangana and not granting the funds due to the state.
"The PM himself says that they will topple our government. I want to ask them, for what reason? Didn't people vote for us? Didn't we win the elections? Is this the India we dream of where the PM goes to Bengal and says that 40 TMC MLAs are in touch with us,'' he asked.
It should be noted that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned KCR's daughter K Kavitha in Delhi's liquor scam and asked her to appear before the agency for questioning. As per the reports, she has been given a choice of appearing either at the CBI headquarters in Delhi or the probe agency's Hyderabad office.
