Muslim girls boycotts exam after school admin asked them to remove Hijab

Shivamogga, Feb 15:  In a very shocking development, Muslim girls of Shivamogga's Government High School have refused to write 10th std pre board exams after school authorities, following the High court's order, asked them to remove Hijab before enting in School. Nearly thirteen girl students have refused to give exams.

The video has gone viral on social media. As per the reports when the teachers stopped them and asked them to remove Hijab, the students refused to remove their headscarves and demanded that they be allowed to write their exams in their Islamic attire. Soon, their parents reached the school and staged a protest. They barged into the campus, raised slogans, and demanded that the order should be given to them in writing.
 
 
At this point, it should be mentioned that the Karnataka High Court's interim order, all students were restrained from wearing saffron shawls, scarves, hijab, and any religious flag within the classroom.
 
"We have grown up wearing Hijab since our childhood and we cannot give it up. I will not write the exam and I will go home," the Burqa-clad girl told reporters. As the protest intensified, The principal closed the school for the day.
