Grenade attack on wine shop in Baramulla kills 1, injures 3 severely

According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, two terrorists riding on a bike stopped near the newly opened Wine shop at Dewan Bagh in Kashmir"s Baramulla.

Srinagar, May 18: Grenade attack took place on a wine shop in Jammu Kashmir's Baramulla on May 17. The attack lead to the death of one and left the remaining three severely injured. Ranjit Singh age (52) from Rajouri is the only deceased victim, while Goverdan Singh (35) of Kathua, Govind Singh (35) of Rajouri and Ravi Kumar (36) of Kathua are injured.

According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, two terrorists riding on a bike stopped near the newly opened Wine shop at Dewan Bagh in Kashmir's Baramulla. The pillion rider wearing a Burka walked to the window of the wine shop and dropped the grenade inside the said wine shop throught eh window, thereafter fled away from the bike from the spot.
 
 
 
 
 
According to the police, employees of the shop received splinter injuries. All the injured were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital and are presently undergoing treatment at GMC Baramulla. Reports suggest that Goverdan Singh has neck injury, Ravi Kumar has a hand injury and Govind Singh has right chest and thigh injury.
 
The family members of deceased Ranjit Singh, however, are seeking justice for him and protesting against the authorities. Officials said hundreds of villagers from Bakhar and nearby villagers assembled at the highway and blocked it for traffic.
