This marks a significant milestone in the strong strategic relationship between the two, with a focus on joint efforts related to the C-390 Millennium and A-29 Super Tucano. Building upon Embraer's established partnerships and alliances in the Netherlands, this MoU establishes a framework for future joint ventures that align with the Netherlands' Defense Industry Strategy.

This may include exploring new services and capabilities within Embraer's current projects, ultimately contributing to the continued growth and progress of both parties.

The primary objective of the Dutch ecosystem in the Embraer C-390 program for export markets is to deliver valuable contributions to the supply chain. According to Hans Huigen, Director of the NIDV, Embraer is a progressive OEM that prioritizes innovation and fresh perspectives to enhance their platforms' operational readiness.

Huigen is convinced that Embraer's involvement will greatly benefit the Netherlands Defense Technical and Industrial Base. Bosco da Costa Junior, President and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security, affirms that the collaboration strategies outlined in the MoU will also bring significant value to the Dutch defense and security ecosystem, including knowledge institutes and businesses in various sectors.

NIDV's involvement has greatly enhanced Embraer's cooperation with the Netherlands' defense and technical industries, in line with the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy's objectives. This strategic alliance is dedicated to creating cutting-edge defense solutions and bolstering the performance of the C-390 Millennium multi-mission aircraft.
