NB Explains | Anti-India lobbying group IAMC spews venom AGAIN, extends "support" to protesting wrestlers & anti-CAA protesters

In yet another attempt spread its agenda against India and the Modi government, the Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC) shared a video on social media giant, Twitter extending its "support" to protesting wrestlers Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia whom Delhi police detained from the Jantar Mantra protest site on Sunday.
Notably, this came after the protestors and their supporters breached the security while trying to march towards the new parliament building for a ‘Mahila Samman Mahapanchayat.’
Having a long history of targetting India, the IAMC has also extended its "support" to the radicals who were involved in anti-India activities in anti-CAA protests that took place in Delhi in the 2.41-minute video.
While sharing the video, IAMC captioned it with, "From assaulting protesting students at Jamia Millia Islamia University to detaining and harassing top wrestlers of the country, here’s how Modi suppressed dissent in India."

If you see the video, they have tried malign India and the Modi government with edited videos of PM Modi’s inauguration of the new parliament building, as well as scenes from the wrestlers’ detention by Delhi police in Jantar Mantar, the anti-CAA protest, and the farmer’s protest.
The only agenda they want to spread here with the use of wrestlers' protests is to portray the Modi govt as anti-Muslim while sharing the videos of the anti-CAA protest and the farmer’s protest.
When the video begin, it shows anti-CAA Islamist Aysha Renna which has a caption, “From Jamia Milia to Wrestlers Protest: How Modi suppressed dissent.” It should be noted that Aysha Renna had called India ‘fascist’ country because terrorist Yakub Memon was hanged to death after he was convicted for his involvement in the Mumbai Blasts that killed hundreds of people
After they inserted the clips of new Parliament building inauguration and wrestlers detention, they switched to videos used clips that portrayed ant-CAA protests and farmers protests which was a conspiracy weaved by Islamists and Khalistanis respectively.
The video concluded with images of PM Modi receiving the Sceptre (Sengol) during the inauguration of the new parliament building and him with HM Amit Shah and captions like, “BJP’s message is clear- dissent of all kinds will be suppressed” and “A regime that places its own interests over the interests of the people”.
What is Indian American Muslim Council?
It is pertinent to mentiona Rasheed Ahmed is the executive director of the Indian American Muslim Council which has links with banned terror organizations such as the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).
In the past, it had collaborated with US firm and even paid money to get India blacklisted by the USCIRF (United States Commission on International Religious Freedom). A detailed report by Disinfo Lab has exposed its links with the terror outfit Jamat-e-Islami.
IAMC had engaged US lobby firm, paying them USD 55K Dollars for Lobbying the USCIRF against India in 2013-14, during Dr. Manmohan Singh Govt itself.

IAMC had been caught spreading fake news and misinformation in India was slapped with the UAPA in 2021.
