In the complaint reported exclusively by Amar Ujala, Rajeev Kumar stated that on Tuesday, he was sitting at his shop located in the village when the accused Rama Rajbhar arrived carrying a Christian religious book. The accused began persuading him to convert to Christianity, telling him that if he converted, he would be helped in getting a job as well as receive money.

The accused introduced himself as a part of a Christian missionary. Meanwhile, the complainant called other villagers to the spot. When everyone collectively opposed the accused, he allegedly began hurling abuses and threatening to kill them.

Circle Officer (CO) Vidhi Bhushan Maurya stated that a case has been registered and the accused has been arrested, with legal proceedings being initiated against him. The accused's motorcycle has been taken into custody, and a religious book along with photographs have been recovered from his possession.
