Fresh developments have surfaced in the religious conversion case involving a TCS employee in Maharashtra’s Nashik. According to sources
associated with the investigation, accused
Nida Khan reportedly confirmed to the police during questioning that she trained the victim in how to perform Namaz and regularly brought her to her residence for religious instruction.
It was further stated that Khan identified the location where the sessions were allegedly held and acknowledged guiding Islamic prayer practices. Investigators are continuing to examine the accused’s role and the circumstances surrounding the religious instruction as part of the ongoing inquiry.
The investigation has also uncovered allegations that the victim was subjected to sustained mental pressure and was encouraged or compelled to observe religious practices associated with Islam. According to reports, the victim was pressured to fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
During questioning,
Nida Khan reportedly told investigators that the main accused in the case, identified as Danish and Tausif, allegedly insisted that the victim observe all 30 days of fasting during Ramadan. Police are probing whether these actions formed part of a broader effort to influence the victim’s religious beliefs and practices.
