Status of Court Case on our Fingertips; Get ‘e-court app’ and trace A to Z status

New Delhi, March 1: It becomes hectic sometimes when you file a case in the court as to know what will be the update of my case? What is the update on the case? But now you will be able to know about your current status of your court case easily. There are simple steps to know that is taken out your mobile phone and download a mobile application named ‘e-court.’ This will give you the updated information about your court case.

It can be said as the digitalization of the Judiciary. The app is available both on GooglePlay and Apple Store and already has more than 22,000 downloads. It will serve as a source of information both for the judicial delivery system and for lawyers, litigants, police, government agencies and other stakeholders as well.

 

Steps for using are very easy once you download your e-court service app

a. If you know the CNR Number of the Case, enter the 16 alphanumeric CNR Number without any – (hyphen) or space.

b. On Clicking the search button, the current status and entire history of the case will be shown.

c. If you don’t know the CNR number of the Case then it can be searched by other options like Case Registration Number, Party Name, Advocate Name etc. For this, click on the Case Status image.

d. Click on Case Number to view current status, entire history and orders/judgments delivered in the case.

e. When you view the history of the case you have the option to 'Save the Case' and can create your own portfolio of cases.

f. For Future reference, your saved cases can be seen in My Cases
