Actor Ajith Kumar to assist Madras Institute of Technology in drone making

Chennai, May 4: Multi-talented actor Ajith Kumar is all set for his new innings with Madras Institute of Technology. Recognizing the expertise of Ajith in the field of aero-modeling, the renowned institution has approached ace actor to guide MIT students in developing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for the prestigious Medical Express-2018 UAV Challenge which will be organized in Australia’s Queensland probably in September this year.
According to the latest buzz, the veteran actor popularly known as Thala will work as ‘Helicopter Test Pilot and UAV System Adviser’.The ace actor who keeps very low profile is very passionate about designing and operating remote-controlled vehicles. As quoted by The Hindu, the Anna University has okayed the new collaboration of Ajith with Thala.
Ajith was last seen in director Shiva’s spy thriller Vivegam with Kajal Agrawal and Vivek Oberoi. Even after the box-office debacle, Ajit has once again teamed up with Siva for project Called Vishwasam where he will share the screen with Nayanthara. Apart from films, Ajit has a keen interest in bike and car racing, the actor is a trained pilot.
