Hardoi (UP), April 8: Contrary to the appeal made by Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo Mayavati to Muslims to cast their votes in favour of SP-BSP alliance to defeat BJP, the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) has urged the Muslim voters to ensure 100 per cent voting to give a strong and stable government to the country.

Addressing “Voter awareness campaign: Target 100 percent voting” MRM Patron and senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar said that love for motherland is our forte and we will not tolerate any conspiracy against our nation.

Dr Shabana Azami and other prominent personalities of Muslim community were present during this meeting held at Shahbad in Hardoi on April 7.

Extending New Year Greetings to all, Indresh Kumar said that the Indian New Year brings with it festivities, happiness and joy and as such it is the God’s gift to we all.

Launching frontal attack against the Congress party he said that Congress was responsible for the partition of the country and the mindless violence and killing that followed in 1947. Taking a dig at Congress president Rhul Gandhi and his sister Congress general Secretary Priyanka Vadra-Gandhi he said that they were not groomed well and thus lack basic values like respecting the elders. It has become a fashion of sorts for the political leaders like them to blame Narendra Modi, RSS, BJP for everything, he added.

He said that India today has become the 6th country in the world economy and fourth military power also. Those who insult the valour of our brave soldiers are the biggest criminals of the nation, he said. The opposition only see the intolerance and hatred but the crores of citizens are experiencing love and affection, he added.

In Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency, thousands of Muslim women congratulated him on his bold move to abolish the inhuman practice of ‘teen talaq’. Displaying banners, placards and posters, these Muslim women shouted slogans like “Modi Khuda Ka Noor hain, Bharat Ka Kohinoor hain”.

The Muslim women thanked Modi on the issue of ‘teen talaq’ from the bottom of their heart. Passing a resolution at the meeting largely attended by burqa-clad Muslim women, they said that they were thankful to Prime Minister Modi for his sincere efforts to emancipate the Muslim women from the evil practice of ‘teen talaq’ which had made their life a hell. He is not only the Prime Minister but also a social reformer and understood the pain and grief of thousands of Muslim women and brought the bill banning ‘teen talaq’ in the Lok Sabha and got it passed. It was another thing that the same could not be cleared in the Rajya Sabha by the obstinate and anti-women attitude adopted by the leaders of the parties that day in and day out vouchsafed on safeguarding Muslims’ interests, the resolution said.

The convener of the program Huma Bano said that Prime Minister Modi understood that spiritual strength of the Muslim women and just did not consider them flesh and bones. We all are with PM Modi and will make him PM once again, she said. She said that they were confident that Mpdi would emancipate them from the vulgar tradition of ‘halala’ in future.
