Telangana Congress Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy Resigns as MLA

Hyderabad, June 6: After six consecutive MLA terms and sixth consecutive election win as Nalgonda MP, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President N Uttam Kumar Reddy has resigned as Member of State Legislative Assembly. 


 
 Reddy has resigned consequent upon his election to Lok Sabha as a member of Nalgonda Parliamentary Constituency. He submitted his resignation papers to Assembly Legislative Secretory Ananthacharyulu yesterday night.The Secretory further notified that Uttam Kumar Reddy resigned to his seat in the assembly with effect from 5th June. Consequently, a vacancy has arisen to Huzurnagar constituency in the Assembly. The TPCC president won from Huzurnagar constituency in the State Assembly Elections held in December last year. It was his fifth term win. He was elected to Lok Sabha from Nalgonda.
