Dehradun, August 13: Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the selection of Corbett National Park by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Discovery Channel's famous program 'Man vs Wild' is in the larger interest of the state. He said that through this program Uttarakhand will be recognized in the country and the world and this will help wildlife especially tiger conservation program. He said that through the program, 180 countries came to know about the biodiversity of Uttarakhand.
On Monday, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat watched the Discovery Channel Man vs Wild program along with the All India Co-liaison Head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Ramlal, BJP State President and MP Nainital Ajay Bhatt, Assembly Speaker Premchand Agarwal and many other BJP leaders. He said that through this program, along with the state's famous Corbett National Park, the natural beauty and biodiversity of this region will also be recognized. This will increase the tourism of the country and the world in this region.
The Chief Minister said that it is the privilege of Uttarakhand that the Prime Minister should be an example of liveliness and courage in this world famous show. Earlier, when the Prime Minister visited Lord Badrinath with a night rest at the Dhyan cave in Baba Kedarnath, this time lakhs of travelers came to Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister's help will be a big help to wildlife already, especially tiger conservation, and this will send the message of preserving nature and biodiversity in the country and the world. He described it as pleasant for the tourism of Uttarakhand.
