Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Working President Adv. Alok Kumar with members of Valmiki Samaj at Gohana on the occasion of Valmiki Samaj Bhavan foundation laying ceremony.
The program was organized by Valmiki Trikaldarshi Society Director and Pradhan Sevak of Valmiki Dharma Peeth Deepak Aditya, VHP Haryana Unit Vice-President and former judge Pawan Kumar. 104 youths of 52 villages of Gohana Tahsil donned the saffron headgear. Two youths from each village were invited to participate in this program in view of the Coronavirus pandemic.
These youths have deserted the ‘Ravan Sena’ of Chandrashekhar Ravan and vowed to protect the Sanatana Dharma by joining the VHP giving a befitting reply to the divisive slogans such as "जय मीम - जय भीम".
Addressing the Valmiki Samaj youth, VHP Working President Adv. Alok Kumar said that their community had suffered in the past but they had not compromised with their Dharma. Valmiki Samaj has protected the Sanatana Dharma by paying the very high cost, sometimes sacrificing their lives, he said.
He further said that Sri Ram Mandir being constructed at Ayodhya is the symbol of social harmony. The foundation of this temple was laid by Sri Kameshwar Choupal. He said the Hindu society has always remained united and the scheduled castes are an inseparable part of the Hindu society.
Alok Kumar, who had come to participate in a Dharma Jagaran program at Bhagwan Valmiki Ashram at Baroda Road, said that the Bhavan being built here will prove to be a beacon light of social harmony for the entire country and people will throng to visit this unique spot.
VHP Central Joint Secretary-General Dr. Surendra Kumar Jain in his address said that the VHP was committed to fulfilling the dreams of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar who had urged late Sri Golwalkar Guruji, the second Sarsanghchalak of RSS to ask the Hindu saints to denounce untouchability for creating harmonious and homogenous society.
The VHP in its 1969 Udupi session attended by Hindu saints and Acharyas passed the resolution denouncing untouchability in clear and unambiguous terms in presence of Sri Golwalkar Guruji. Since then the VHP has dedicated itself to eradicating untouchability, ending discriminations of all kinds, and creating a homogenous society, Dr. Jain said.
He said that those who believe in caste discrimination cannot be a true Hindu. There is no such discrimination in all our Holy places, Kumbha Mela, etc. This inhuman and sinful custom will end soon as it is against nature, he added.
Dr. Jain said that Valmiki Samaj is not untouchable, they are the religious warriors and asked why those raising slogans of “Meem and Bheem” did not visit the Mewat region where the Harijans are subjected to tortures and discrimination, rape and molestation by the Muslims? Dr. Ambdkar had rejected such an alliance in his life as he could visualize the futility in the slogan “Meem and Bheem”. This congregation as endorsed his stand, he added.
Former Judge Pawan Kumar who chaired the event said that we will make entire Haryana strong and cohesive Hindu society and defeat the conspiracies of the anti-national elements.
Haryana RSS Prant Prachar Pramukh Rajesh Kumar, Samajik Samarasata Vibhag Pramukh Mahendra Kansal, and VHP State Organizing Secretary Prem Prakash were prominently present on the dais. General Secretary of Valmiki Samaj Pran Ratnakar and many others were present.
