Ahmedabad, January 01: After spotting Monolith in the different parts of the world, another metallic sculpture ‘monolith' has spotted for the first time in India. The structure has been spotted in Symphony Forest Park in Thaltej, Ahmedabad.
The mysterious Monolith evoked a lot of intrigue after its appearance at the Symphony Forest Park on the SG Highway on Thursday (December 31). It is similar in look to other monoliths, and like others, this Monolith also has a few numbers embedded on it, which represent an affinity towards nature and the protection of wildlife.
The suspense factor did not remain as it was revealed that a private company was responsible for installing the Monolith. While this news has created lots of buzz among residents and on the internet. In just a few hours, the place has become a tourist place as many locals started visiting the place to take selfies, as these monoliths have a history of disappearing after some time.
The Symphony Forest Park is managed by Symphony Ltd and the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. It was virtually inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani among other projects last month.
The shiny metal structures have been mysteriously appearing and disappearing, across the world. It should be noted that the Monolith was first spotted in a remote desert of Utah in the United States however, it disappeared after a few days. This was later spotted in as many as 30 countries around the world, including Romania, France, Poland, United Kingdom, and Colombia.
There are numerous theories about the monolith on the internet which suggest these are being put up by different artists and science-fiction lovers at different locations.
