For those who are unaware of the topic, there has been a heated argument video on social media, in which a TV reporter is seen arguing with Haldiram's outlet manager over the reason behind the usage of Urdu on the packaging of a product made for people fasting during Navratri, went viral on social media.
 
 
 
In the video clip, the reporter is seen confronting Halidram's store manager for the Arabic packaging on the said product. The snack in question is called 'Falhari Mixture'. It has been one of the most popular fasting mixtures of the brand. The packaging of the product shows text in English and Gujarati on the front, along with a green dot, symbolising it’s a vegetarian product.
 
 
The viral video has received 878.9k views, 3439 retweets, and 12k likes so far, leaving netizens divided.Following the video, social media users have started asking Haldiram why the company printed the description of the packet in the Urdu language.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
At this point, it should be pointed out that several products of Haldiram including Falhari Mixture are exported to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Nations. It has huge demand in Saudi Arabia. Not only Haldiram but many Indian manufacturers use Arabic text on their products due to the market.
