The heart is the most special organ in our body. It keeps us alive. Everything is replaceable, however, the heart is not (At least till now very rare cases of heart transplant are there.) And because it is the most important and special organ, we need to take care of it, the most. Our lifestyles, diets, and stress levels are the major aspects that we need to take into consideration for a good heart. In the past few days, we have lost so many celebrities, so many stars. It was a sudden, unimaginable, and unpredictable loss. From KK to Raju Shrivastava, from Siddharth Shukla to Puneeth Rajkumar We have lost so many good humans all because of Heart attacks.
Here are those stars that we lost because of Heart issues:
1. Raju Shrivastava (Age 58 years): Recently we lost a pioneer of comedy in India, Raju Shrivastava. A person who had a healthy lifestyle, who worked out regularly, one day while running on a treadmill fell down, due to cardiac arrest. He had been admitted immodestly to the hospital in Delhi. He fought for 42 days and lost his battle on 21st September 2022. Health experts suggest that high-stress levels can be a huge issue when it comes to heart health. The reason for his heart attack was unknown, however, we lost a great artist and a great human being, and that is the truth.
2. KK (Age 53 years): Krishnakumar Kunnath is a huge name in India’s music industry. A day before his death he was performing in a college concert. It is said that it was his best performance. The last song he performed was, “Hum rahe ya na rahe kal, kal yad aayenge ye pal” Little did he know that it was all going to become true. He went back to his hotel, and felt unwell, when admitted, he was declared dead soon. A black day for all the 90’s kids and music lovers in India. The reason for his death was again Cardiac Arrest. He might be having a heart issue, about which he was unaware, he thought it was acidity as antacids were found in his blood, after his death. This all indicates, he might be having trouble, but he wasn’t aware and hence he performed with his best energy, we all couldn’t get that he was getting exhausted, he was getting overwhelmed. One heart attack took away the shiniest star in our music industry.
3. Siddharth Shukla (Age 40): Siddharth Shukla was another bright name in the entertainment industry. From Balika Vadhu to Big Boss, he won everyone’s hearts. And one fine day we saw in news, Siddharth Shukla is no more. He felt uneasy at night and in the morning he was no more. Just like that. We saw him as the fittest celebrity. He was a gym freak, He was on a healthy diet, but still, he lost his life. Was stress the issue? We don’t know. What happens in this industry no one knows. The reality is a celebrity’s life is hectic and stressful. We don’t know what they go through. We don’t know what it was, we lost a shining start, that’s for sure.
4. Puneeth Rajkumar (Age 46): The most handsome star of the South Indian (Kannada) Film industry. Lost his life battle one fine day, leaving his pregnant wife behind. He was just 46 years old. On 29th October 2021, he complained about chest pain. He was rushed to Bengaluru hospital where he died. This was not his age to go. He was also the fittest actor. He was also on a healthy diet, still, he lost his life at the age of just 46. Shocking, Horrible, and Tragic.
5. Brahma Swaroop Mishra (Age 36): Mirzapur fame Bramha Swaroop Mishra was found dead in his Versova flat on December 2, 2021. He complained of chest pain a few days back and taking medicines for the gastric issues. But the reason for his death was cardiac arrest. He was just 36 years old. Another upcoming shining star was gone because of a heart attack.
"In several cases, we have come across that person, typically young, fit, and healthy people having a heart attack or cardiac arrest during or after the workout in a gym, while playing sports or running. One must understand anything you overdue will harm in long run than getting benefits from it. At a times in rare cases, a heart attack in a gym can occur due to a blood clot in the heart due to certain reasons which affect the blood flow. Other comorbidities like cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes etc can also contribute to heart diseases. Exercise in moderation is good shouldn't be over done Individuals doing Unaccustomed exercise should get checked up for cardiac and other ailments," says Dr Ankur Phatarpekar, Director Cathlab and Interventional Cardiologist, Symbiosis Hospital, Mumbai. In one of his interview with a leading news paper.
Heart attacks, Cardiac Arrests are increasing day by day. We need to be extra cautious and take all the precautions for our good heart health. Also after 30 years we must do the entire health checkup twice a year.
On this world Heart Day we should take a pledge to keep our hearts and our loved ones heart healthy.
