Islamabad, April 4: Amid the economic crisis, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has recently received the delivery of the cutting-edge Akinci unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs). A special patch has been designed for the Pakistani pilots of this drone. However, according to reports, this patch put on the drone given by Turkey to Pakistan displays Kashmir as part of Pakistan.

This came after the defense news website Mildefine reported on this patch, Kashmir has been described as a part of Pakistan. In this patch, Pakistan is shown in green and Turkey in red. A red moon and star is shown in the middle of the map of the two countries.

Besides, the Pakistani pilots were trained last year to fly these Akinci drones inside Turkish drone company Baykar. Powered by two Ukrainian AI-450T turboprop engines, the Akinci drone can achieve a maximum speed of 195 knots and has a range of more than 6,000 km. With an operational altitude of 40,000 feet, the drone can stay airborne for up to 24 hours, providing unparalleled endurance and mission flexibility.

Turkey has supplied this drone to only five countries including Pakistan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. This Turkish drone is very lethal and includes air-to-air missiles, small bombs, and cruise missiles.
