Savitribai Phule Pune University invites volunteers as 'G20 Prachar Doot'

Savitribai Phule Pune University is proud to host the G20 Education Working group meeting that is scheduled to be hosted in the culture capital of Maharashtra, from 20th Jun to 22nd Jun 2023. Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the curtain raiser event of G20 Convention's Education Working Group's Meet in Pune, on May 26.

 

 

 

 

With the theme of “Ensuring Foundation Literacy and Numeracy (FLN),” the Ministry of Education is organizing a series of activities and programs aimed at promoting and endorsing this important aspect, particularly in the context of blended learning.

Fadnavis had rightly remarked during the curtain-raising event, that "India has recently overtook the Great Britain, who ruled over India for centuries, in the global economic ranking. Soon India will also overtake Japan. And in this process the role of India's youth will be decisive." India's youth possesses immense potential to instill change in the society.

Savitribai Phule Pune University understands youth's position in the process of transiting towards modernized education, which is why, the university has invited students to volunteer for spreading the message and awareness among the people about the work and agenda of G20 Education Working group. G20 Prachar Doot are expected to prominently participate in the Janabhagidari activities. The Janbhagidari events will lead up to the main event, the 4th Education Working Group (4th EdWG) discussion, scheduled to take place in Pune, Maharashtra, from 19th to 21st June 2023. The events will culminate with the Education Ministerial meeting on 22nd June 2023. The schedule of events organized by the Ministry is as follows:
