Ayodhya Ram Mandir witnesses over 1.5 Cr devotees since 'Pran Pratishtha', Confirms Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Official

Ayodhya, April 22: Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, revealed on Monday that since the consecration of Ram Lalla on January 22 this year, more than 15 million devotees have visited to pay homage.

Rai highlighted that the temple welcomes over 100,000 visitors daily, all seeking blessings. "Every day, more than 100,000 people come to the temple for darshan. Since the consecration on January 22, approximately 15 million people have visited to have darshan of Ram Lalla," Rai remarked.
 
 
 
 
Moreover, Rai announced plans for the construction of a 14-foot-wide security enclosure around the temple, known as 'Parkota.' "Currently, only the ground floor of the temple, where the consecration of Ram Lalla took place, is complete. Work on the first floor is ongoing. A 14-foot-wide security wall will be erected around the temple, known as the 'Parkota,'" he elaborated.
 
 
 
 
 
He further detailed that the 'Parkota' will serve various purposes, accommodating six additional temples. "The 'Parkota' will serve multiple functions and will include the construction of six additional temples dedicated to Bhagwan Shankar, Bhagwan Surya, a Garbhgriha, and temples for Bhagwan Hanuman, Ma Annapurna, Maharishi Valmiki, Maharishi Vashishtha, Maharishi Vishwamitra, and Maharishi Agastya. Temples for Nishad Raj, Ma Shabri, Ma Ahilya, and Jatayu will also be constructed. The temple premises will have the capacity to accommodate 25,000 pilgrims at once, along with their belongings," Rai explained.
 
 
 
 
"Existing trees and plants on the premises, numbering around 600, are being safeguarded. Additionally, facilities such as water treatment and sewage treatment plants are in place. This temple will be self-sufficient, ensuring that the people of Ayodhya face no difficulties in meeting its needs," he assured.
