There are two types of India: the “New Idea of India” propagated after 1947; and, the “Old Idea of India” inherited historic legacy. The left of the center ideologues interpreted the “New Idea of Idea” based on the “secular” ideology, albeit Mahatma Gandhi exploited religion to gain political independence in 1947 from the British yoke.
