BJP leader Jagadish Shettar rejects opinion poll; says Party to hit 150 mark

Hubballi, April 14: Reacting to the findings of a recently held opinion poll on Karnataka, senior BJP leader Jagadish Shettar said that BJP will achieve the target of 150 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. Speaking to the media, the Leader of the Opposition expressed that people of Karnataka have decided to dethrone the indecisive Congress government led by Siddaramaiah. The opinion poll predicted that Congress under the leadership of Siddaramaiah would emerge as the single largest party in the state.

Commenting on the high profile political meeting between K Chandrashekhar Rao and H D Deve Gowda, the former Chief Minister stated that TSR’s support won’t change the dynamics of the election. During his recent Karnataka visit, the Telangana Chief Minister backed JD(S) and urged Telugu community to vote in favor of regional outfit headed by former Prime Minister of India.
