Moscow, April 2: A game-changing initiative that can significantly boost the momentum of bilateral ties, India and Russia deepen relations with utmost dedication towards progress and development. Foreign Secretary of India Vijay Gokhale and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov discussed cooperation at the BRICS venue and the problems of arms control, in Moscow. The relations between the two countries foster state-level cooperation and further intensify direct contacts between business, entrepreneurs and government bodies on both sides.
“Both leaders discussed cooperation in the BRICS, problems of the leading multilateral export-control regimes, including New Delhi’s application for membership in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), other issues of arms non-proliferation and control, as well as current issues on the international agenda of mutual interest," the ministry said.
