It becomes difficult to figure out where to start, when on has too many points to write about a book. Hence let me start with a disclaimer: I have been acknowledged in the book. So, I am an interested party.

Book _1  H x W:

Whoever wants to know about how Dr Krishna Ella worked on Covaxin should read this book. In my understanding this is his first writeup on development of Covaxin. This is good enough reason to buy the book.

The chapter, “The Role of Psychology in the Rise of New India by Rajat Mitra” will shake the reader. I took some time to absorb the impact. The role of generational trauma has to be understood if India has to become Vishwaguru. This chapter for me is the high point of the book.

You will meet the inspiring Param Vir Chakra Awardee – Bana Singh who along with his team scaled a 1500 feet wall of ice in a blizzard in Siachen to take back a peak from Pakistan in 1987. Gives us a glimpse of what it takes to keep our nation free and safe.

The said Book has write-up from 28 individuals cutting across profession, gender, age, geography, ability – disability, education, finance who have contributed for the nation. I will classify majority of them as Superheroes. Our own superheroes, talking, walking, doing their work, among us, without we knowing about them. Reading about each of them gives goosebump.

If you want to pursue your passion but have an excuse of not pursuing then read this book. You will learn how to overcome the excuse.

If you want to know why India is suddenly happening Nation at the global stage, then read this book. You will know how so many individuals in so many fields in so many parts of the nation are doing good work to make India, Vishwa Guru.

Savitha Rao has done a commendable job by identifying 28 individuals and reaching out to them and covering their journey in the book, all of it during Chinese Virus. This book is a part of series of books on the concept of India Positive Citizen. Savitha Rao believes that if citizens want a great nation then each citizen has to do some positive work, every day, every week, every month and so on. She has previously authored a book titled “500+ ways to be an India Positive Citizen.” Savitha Rao walks the talk. She has a Positive Citizen Foundation, under which she takes up positive works.

Book has been designed thoughtfully. After every chapter there is a blank page to make notes. Believe you me after every chapter you will have few notes to yourself.

The book has not only a dedicated website but also social media handles where there are inspiring ideas and call to action which each of us can do to contribute towards our nation.

So, if you are just a reader then you won’t do justice to the book. If you are a doer, who wants to do some good for Bharat then you are the reader the book is looking for.
