UPSC reschedules civil services prelims examination due to covid

New Delhi, May 13: With the current Covid situation in the country, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) postponed the Civil Services preliminary exam which was scheduled to be held in June. According to the announcement, the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2021 exam will be now held on October 10.

UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2021 exam was scheduled for June 27, 2021. UPSC has notified “Due to the current COVID-19 situation in India, the Union Public Service Commission has deferred the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2021, the exam was scheduled to be held on June 27, 2021, now the exam will be conducted on October 10, 2021.”
 
 
 
UPSC has also postponed the registrations for Combined Medical Services Exam which was scheduled to begin on May 5.

Last year, the Civil Services exam was also rescheduled from May 31 to October 4. So far, the main written exam has been over. The interview was put on hold due to the rise in coronavirus cases.
