Mumbai, February 28: Shiv Sena leader Yashwant Jadhav's house was raided by the Income Tax Department on February 25, amids the political developments in Maharashtra involving stand-off between the Maha Vikas Aghadi govt and BJP. Now, after 100 hours, the inquiry has come to an end. The house of Yashwant Jadhav was raided for the last four days.

The Income Tax Raid officials had been camping at Jadhav's house since Friday morning. During their interrogation, a large number of documents, digital devices (scanners, laptops, hard disks) were seized from the house.
 
 
The authorities have so far, seized important documents worth Rs 2 crore in 33 places. Against the backdrop of the raid, a large contingent of police was deployed outside Yashwant Jadhav's house. However, what exactly happened to the officers during these four days of investigation is still in the bouquet.

Meanwhile, BJP Leader Kirit Somaiya tweeted aboubt the matter, saying, "We had lodged a complaint with the Income Tax Department and ED on August 18, 2021 regarding the scam perpetrated by Shiv Sena leader Yashwant Jadhav."
 
 
Yashwant Jadhav's interrogation started at his house in Mazgaon area of ​​Mumbai. His wife Yamini Jadhav, is a MLA from Mumbai's Byculla Assembly constituency, on a Shiv Sena ticket.

The Income tax officials, along with CRPF jawans, had arrived at the house of Shiv Sena leader and Mumbai Municipal Corporation standing committee chairman Yashwant Jadhav on Friday morning. Meanwhile, the Income Tax Department also raided some places of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation contractors, and took necessary action.
