A Kerala student today moved the Supreme Court seeking the withdrawal of the CBSE's decision to re-conduct the Class 10 Maths exam after the paper was leaked in Delhi. Rohan Mathew, the student, said that the decision was illegal and violative of the Constitution’s Article 14 (equality before law), Article 21 (right to life and liberty) and 21A (right to education).
In the CBSE paper leak case, the police have detained six students from Chatra of Jharkhand. According to the police, all the students detained have been charged that they were sitting in the examination hall along with the question papers resolved during the March 28 examination. The police claim that all these students were given a copy of the leaked papers from Patna in Bihar, after which a police team has been dispatched to Patna in search of the main gangster.
